On Saturday, November 10  at Edgerton Park’s Carriage House was a joyful celebration of food, music, and libations. More than 70 people enjoyed great food and a silent and live auction to celebrate a highly successful season of growing food and growing community for our New Haven Farm members. Auctioneer Mike Morand kept the crowd engaged and the bids rising.

Auction items included artwork from Paul Duda, Kiara Matos; complete eye care and designer glasses from Vision Associates of Prospect; Samba Dance and Capoeira classes from Thelma Ladeira and Master Efraim Silva, and much, much more!

The money raised at this event will expand our urban farming space, and go toward hiring a farmer for our 2013 growing season.
