Farm-Based Wellness Program Manager
Peter Zapata is a Colombian-American Connecticut resident. He has traveled abroad to 10 different countries, from Peru to Malaysia, for work and leisure. Peter’s past work has focused on delivering equitable nutrition education to food insecure populations throughout Connecticut. He has a passion for working with under served communities to empower them to make healthier lifestyle choices. He is enthusiastic about his work with the Farm-Based Wellness Program because the nature of the work crosses the intersection of nutrition, wellness and public health.
