Ashley Kenney

Director of Community Agriculture & Nature Stewardship

Coming to Gather New Haven with a lifelong passion for teaching and learning about sustainable food systems, Ashley believes in the healing and connective power of farming and gardening. She has held the role of Garden Manager for the Jane Goodall Permaculture Garden at Western Connecticut State University, Garden Manager and Sustainability Coordinator at Grace Farms Foundation. Years of work in the nonprofit field saw her forming her own consulting firm which led to working with such excellent organizations as CT NOFA, NOFA Mass, Akindale Thoroughbred Rescue and Green Village Initiative.  Ashley currently resides in Litchfield County on her homestead, Little Spring Farm, with her husband, three children as well as myriad goats, chickens, and bees.
