Eliza Caldwell

Community Garden Manager

Eliza brings a passion for gardening, a high level of organization, fluency in Spanish, and a level of creativity, flexibility, and dedication needed to do this challenging job.  She comes to us from Natureworks, a retail nursery and garden center in Northford, where she served as Vegetable Department Manager; teaching Spanish at SCSU; and teaching workshops with  Sea Tea Improv, a nationally recognized improv touring company in Hartford . She has worked as a theater counselor at the Neighborhood Music School Summer Program and as an organic farmer.   She will be a resource across all we do as an organization.  She has a B.A. from the University of Connecticut where she majored in Spanish.
