Felicia Pierre has been the Gather New Haven’s Bookkeeper at the very start of the newly merged organization. A native New Yorker, she attended the Summer Enrichment Program for the Gifted at Hunter College and the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & amp; Art and Performing Arts—of the 1980 film Fame fame!—where she majored in art. She began her career as an intern, and then an operations specialist, at Prudential Securities while still in high school, and studied finance and investments at Baruch College, ranked second in Money magazine’s 2019 list of “Best Colleges” in the US.
Felicia has earned a Master’s degree in the Science of Accounting. She opened an accounting practice in 2015, also situated in New Haven, through which she has worked in a range of industries, including nonprofit, Jewish federations, international corporations, telecommunications, service, and the US federal government. Felicia also provides services with the New Haven International Festival of Arts & amp; Ideas, and the New Haven Preservation Trust. Felicia has won numerous awards for her work.
