Jacqueline Maisonpierre

Executive Director

Jacqueline has been with New Haven Farms since 2013. In her tenure as Farm Director, Jacqueline spent five years growing both produce and community on the seven urban farms now stewarded by New Haven Farms. In the spring of 2018 Jacqueline stepped into the role of Executive Director, eager to lead New Haven Farms, an innovative, grassroots non-profit into its next chapter.

Jacqueline has a background in ecology, with a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont’s Rubenstein School for the Environment and Natural Resources. A CT native, Jacqueline moved back to New Haven to pursue the unique opportunity of building a production farm associated with a Federally Qualified Health Center. New Haven Farms represents the intersection of many of her passions: agriculture, community organizing, environmental education, food, nutrition, and public health.

Jacqueline is bilingual in English and Spanish, and she loves working to support community members to lead healthier lifestyles. In her free time Jacqueline enjoys outdoor adventures of all varieties, and growing and arranging flowers from her home garden.
