This year’s Garden Harvest Celebration will be held on two separate days due to weather postponement, the Community Gathering will be on October 1, 2023,  2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

This year’s event will be a two part event, starting with a self-guided tour of 5 community garden’s throughout New Haven. Each garden will be hosting a unique activity. You may choose to attend any or all the gardens within this time frame. These tours will begin at 12:00PM and go until 2:00PM on October 28th. You are invited to join us for the Community Gathering at our new office location from 2:00Pm – 5:00Pm on Sunday October 1st at 495 Blake Street. Come meet our neighbors and community organization out to celebrate this year’s harvest season. This is a family oriented event, with youth activities will include a Bouncy House, Pumpkin Carving, Face Painting, Bean Bag Toss, Leaf Stamps, Popsicle stick Peeps, One fish two fish, red fish blue fish, Killdeer & Coyote, Capture the Flag, Heads up! (Marine Ecology version).

We are happy to announce that we will be hosting two food trucks at this year’s event, Taco Flores and Taste of Puerto Rico.
