New Haven Farms is proud to announce grants from Newman’s Own Foundation, New Alliance Foundation, and Connecticut Health Foundation.

A $30,000 grant from Newman’s Own Foundation and a $5,000 grant from New Alliance Foundation will support our signature Farm-Based Wellness Program, which provided gardening, nutrition, and cooking educating to 75 families in New Haven this season. These grants will allow us to continue to grow the program in 2018.

The $24,000 grant from Connecticut Health Foundation will support our Community Health Ambassador Program. This program allows committed graduates of the Farm-Based Wellness Program to develop leadership skills and learn behavior change methodologies to become the next generation of community change-makers. This grant was also announced in a Hartford Business article.
