Mary Beth Decker

Board Member

Mary Beth Decker is a co-chair of the Schooner Committee and has been involved with Schooner the since 2011. She is a marine scientist and educator and works at Yale as a Research Scientist and Lecturer. She studies how oceanography and climate change affect marine predators and their prey in coastal ecosystems. Mary Beth also teaches courses in biological oceanography and coastal ecology. She enjoys bird watching, kayaking and gardening and is committed to improving equitable access to our coasts.
